Summer Reading Program

The calendar of events contains all the programs at the library throughout the summer.  Table of contents is on the cover page and includes story times, monthly programs, special programs, and teen programs.  Below are just a few examples of the many reading programs and activities that are happening all through the summer.  For more information, visit the Carnegie-Stout Public Library or follow this link to see their calendar of events.

 

Beginning Chapters Book Club

“Do you like Magic Tree House, Junie B. Jones, and Nate the Great books?  If so, this book club is for you.  This club is for those who have finished 1st grade through 3rd grade.  We will talk about the book and then participate in an enjoyable activity or craft.”

Ages:  1st grade – 3rd grade
Dates: Wednesdays at 4:00 p.m.
July 10 – The Infamous Ratsos by Kara LaReau
August 14 – Stealing the Sward (Time Jumpers) by Wendy Mass

2019 Summer Youth Programs

This brochure has all of the summer activities happening in Asbury.  Your child can participate in things like volleyball, basketball, golf, or tennis.  There is a VR Experience to engage one’s creativity.  For more family-oriented programs, there are movie nights in the park, a swim night, and National Night Out.

Parks & Recreation Summer 2019 Activities

This brochure details all of activities happening in Dubuque over the summer. Page 4 has a table of contents and breaks the activities down by category.  Activities range from summer lessons with enrichment, youth sports, playground activities, etc.  Family activities are also included.  Page 5 is the registration form.
